The Five Flags won the 2021 Golden Plate peoples choice Award. We were the runners up for 'Best Hotel Dining' and 'Apprentice of the year'. Below are just some of the Judges comments about the Five Flags.

"The Five Flags is a warm and welcoming country pub.All the staff are lovely, very friendly and approachable, they really care about their customers and the hotel, really making an effort to make each customers experience enjoyable from start to finish. 

The chef of the Five Flags and his team pride themselves on the food they serve, and they should be proud of it because it is really good. The menu is extensive, and there are often specials as well. Each meal has been designed to be approachable and comforting but there is an emphasis on flavour and quality ingredients.

The Five Flags is all about enjoying all the best that a country pub can offer, and that includes a great selection of beer and local wines.

The Five Flags offers great value pub food, larges generous portions of delicious food, great wine and beer and friendly customer service."
